Lead Carpenter Project Manager

Kingdom Karpentry, Llc. in Drexel Hill, PA is looking for one lead carpenter-project manager to join our strong team. We are located on 431 Burmont Rd. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, possess good leadership skills, punctual, good verbal skills, personable, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES: the position’s activities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Lead a project or job to include:

• Represent the organization to ensure customer satisfaction through professional appearance, expert workmanship and polite communication.
• Read and comprehend work orders to determine stages and types of carpentry projects assigned.
• Review blueprints/drawings and specifications to determine project layouts and dimensions.
• Maintain a safe and clean job site.
• Provide daily reports to Project Manager of the progress of the project, including any customer concerns, problems, delays, etc.
• Supervise the activities of the company’s field carpenters and/or independent subcontractors, which include oral and written communication as needed.
• Be responsible for the efficient and profitable use of the company’s time and materials on each project.
• Track hours according to the organizations protocols and submit weekly invoices as needed to program admin.
• Prepare to ensure all needed materials are available for perspective projects.
• Attend seminars and shows to obtain new product knowledge and new installation procedures.
• Seek additional responsibility and guidance from company management employees as needed to enhance existing skills, learn new skills, and create potential for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum 8+ years as a carpenter.
• Possess a high school diploma /GED, and/or vocational training.
• Tools for rough and finish carpentry.
• Own Transportation
