Land Surveyor In Training - Redding, California

GHD has a new opportunity for a full time Land Surveyor In Training to work out of our Redding, CA office! We currently have a number of exciting and diverse projects underway working across the public & private sector, with work focused in transportation and site development.

In this role, you will perform various land surveying tasks accomplished through understanding and applying appropriate standards, manuals, guidelines, policies, directives and computer software applications. You will work both in the field and in the office providing calculations, mapping, research and computer activities in support of Land Surveyors and Engineers.

Requirements:

• 0-4 years’ experience in Land Surveying
• Land Surveyor-in-Training Certification in CA
• Current California Driver’s License
• Experience with the preparation of boundary and topographic surveys
• Experience in the preparation of ALTA surveys, Final Maps, Parcel Maps, Record of Surveys and related documents
• Experience with Civil 3D a plus
