Laboratory Support Technician

Sentara is currently hiring an
Laboratory Support Technician

This is a Part Time position with Rotating shift hours
Position is located in Norfolk, VA.
Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Level Degree - BIOLOGY OR
  Bachelor's Level Degree - CHEMISTRY
• Required: Active Learning, Active Listening, Communication, Service Orientation, Typing Speed 30+ WPM
• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution required.Histology Lab candidates with a Bachelor of Science in general studies with 12 semester hours (18 quarter hours) in biology and chemistry will qualify

Prepares specimens per discipline operating procedure for result/interpretation by technical staff and/or pathologists. Performs instrument maintenance and inventory functions per operating procedures.
