Manage customer telephone orders, maintains inventories, and coordinates transportation for reagents, supplies, equipment, and products. Provide support, development, and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

Shift: 1st Shift (day time)

$14-16/hr.

Responsibilities:


  • Receive customer orders for blood products and refer to appropriate personnel.
  • May perform duties associated with receipt, coordination, shipment, and transport of patient and donor blood samples.
  • Operate, maintain, and may perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment.
  • May perform donor product inventory management.
  • May perform labeling and verification of blood products.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree (AS) or BA in Biology preferred.
  • 1 year of laboratory experience.

  • Experience and familiarity with office automation (e.g. MS Word) desired.
  • Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs.
  • Ability to use a personal computer and applicable software for sustained periods.
  • The environment must include access to wired or wireless internet.
