Job Description/Summary:
The Kronos Cloud Analyst is responsible for the overall support of the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland (BCH-Oakland) scheduling system replacement project. The Kronos Cloud Analyst is responsible for supporting the business users that are live on Kronos Scheduler and gathering requirements, configuration and taking the remaining departments live. This role will also work closely with our Human Resources and Payroll Departments to ensure that appropriate policies & procedures are adhered to within the implementation(s) and that the existing live functionality is not negatively impacted by leading the regression testing activities.

The scheduler portion includes, building existing schedules in Kronos Scheduler, customizing schedules to meet business and contract needs by department, drive consistency across the organization regarding scheduling and analysis and implementation of additional features offered in the new solution.

The Analyst documents procedures and develops workflow efficiencies in collaboration with department management, coordinates rollout strategy and supporting users during Go-Live Support and provides on-going support to business users.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education: BA/BS in clinical discipline, computer science, or other related field. Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Minimum Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible and related work experience with staff scheduling and payroll.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of and experience with Kronos Time & Attendance and Scheduler
  • Knowledge working with hospital information systems to install and upgrade systems.
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships and build consensus.
  • Ability to research and interpret relevant regulations, guidelines, and standards.
  • Ability to speak and write effectively at a level appropriate for the job.
  • Ability to strategize, plan and implement change.
  • Ability to supervise, coach, mentor, train, and evaluate work results.
  • Knowledge and understanding of needs, goals, deliverables and interdependencies of various functional groups and departments in a health care environment.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Experience with independently interfacing new systems and modalities related to scheduling.
  • Independently evaluates all requests for Scheduling system enhancements and recommends ideas to the end users.
  • Stays current on knowledge of system changes and upgrades to effectively assist the user community with support.
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical disciplines including programmers, systems analyst, and networking in a healthcare environment involving multiple applications and interfaces.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the integration of information systems with specific organizational business needs and plans.
  • Knowledge of PC applications (MS Office and MS Project) and the ability to write reports.
