Job Description

Job Summary: Integral member of the staffing office at Kent Hospital. Performs administrative and clerical duties necessary to help optimize daily staffing for the nursing units. Recruits staff daily to maintain nurse to patient ratios. Coordinates with Nursing Supervisors and Nurse Directors on an ongoing basis. Attends daily Bed meetings to report staffing to Nurse Directors. Performs various aspects of Payroll and Scheduling.

Specifications: High school degree or equivalent. 1-2 years scheduling or secretarial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are required. Previous experience in Payroll (Kronos) and Scheduling Software (Shift Select) preferred.
