Job Description

Arlluk Technology Solutions (ATS) is seeking a Junior Analyst to work with our client in Washington, DC. ATS is looking for an excellent communicator. Our ideal candidate is logical and proactive, thinks through their activities and understands how their work contributes to KGS value to the client. The candidate must demonstrate excellent written and oral communications skills, be self-driven, and work collaboratively with the members on the project team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent listening skills, be able to capture and present ideas articulately as well as numerous smaller administrative and customer support initiatives.

This is a direct, full-time position supporting KGS and our client.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Support the continued improvement and enhancement of the Records Management Team including but not limited to responding to feedback from staff, meeting minutes, research, verbal and written communications
  • Work closely with the government management staff in order to identify customer needs and establish ways upon which customer needs can be met for their maximum benefit and satisfaction
  • Help document and preparing reports that can be used for improving services within the team
  • Communicate program goals within the team
  • Conduct research exercises to gain insight into the use and implementation of records management conversion

Requirements:

  • Creating project documentation and presentation materials
  • Experience working with and tracking and managing requests from senior management
  • Very strong communications skills including; communications, meeting minutes and memos
  • Ability to plan, organize, and structure work.
  • Highly skilled in Excel, Word, and other word processing software programs
  • Showcase good analytical and evaluative skills in tasks
  • Showcase good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Have good interpersonal skills

Education:

  • High school education is required. Some college education desirable, but not required

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Candidates must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance, per government requirements
  • Experience supporting a senior management staff
  • Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
  • Must be fully fluent in MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Must have incredible attention to detail
  • Demonstrated abilities including but not limited to:
  • Creating a positive environment for the team
  • Exceeding client expectations
  • Taking responsibility for delivering work on time

Working Environment & Conditions

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The work load may require the incumbent to stand for extended periods of time. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
