Job Description

Chemours is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the support and administration of ITSM Tools and Automation technology, to work with our Service Management Team. Our team is focused providing high quality and cost-effective service to Chemours using technology & AI. This position will report to our Global Service Desk Manager. Preferred location for the role is Wilmington, DE but candidates in other locations, especially near other Chemours facilities, will be considered. The Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Technical Administrator for the ITSM platform and other complementing tools which includes IPsoft’s 1Desk, 1RPA, Amelia, and Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Understand and support integrations with different components of the ITSM platform.
  • Continuously improve and automate various ITSM tasks such as Reporting, Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, CMDB to reduce manual work and human error.
  • Work with various teams and users to understand and prioritize new demand, and phase in solutions.
  • Drive standardization, simplification, and integrations where possible across the different systems.
  • Support new releases and migration to new platforms and technologies.
The following is required for this role:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Enterprise ITSM Tools (such as 1DESK, ServiceNow or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding and prior experience developing/supporting Automation
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication & Presentation Skills
  • Ability to collaborate across a global organization and manage ambiguity
The following is preferred for this role:
  • Experience with Java scripts, JSON, Groovy, Bots, RPA & API’s
  • Understanding of ITIL v4.0 processes and Framework
  • Good Working knowledge of Office 365 Productivity Suite, MS Power Automate & MS Power BI
