Position Overview: The Novelis North America IT Team is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join a multifaceted, growth focused technical team based in Atlanta, GA. This role will align IT solutions with business supply chain execution strategies as well as contribute to the growth of capabilities with the areas of business engagement, project methodology and collaborate closely between the business and other technical resources.
This role provides consultation, training and support that encompasses day to day processing tasks, client knowledge building and training, case management, client product functionality and building and maintaining a positive relationship with the NNA Supply Chain and Operations team. On smaller projects, the analyst coordinates the various resources, tasks and timing, handles direct communication to end users, and assists with ongoing improvement initiatives; for instance - review and improvement of pre-existing application documentation.

- Identifies and aligns IT enablers to support business initiatives, provides input to project roadmap and project prioritization process
- Collects requirements, coordinates work from technical resources, contributes to the technical design, provides recommended solutions, performs quality control and facilitates user acceptance testing
- Builds and delivers correspondence, presentations, and other materials for end user training
- Designs, develops, configures and presents alternative solutions for customer, using creative-thinking expertise and solution prototypes, to ensure effective reporting/analysis
- Collaborates with technical team and leadership to define solutions to develop the architecture of the selected analytical solutions
- Details information systems projects status, including functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, data dictionaries, crosswalks, design specifications, test plans and scripts, etc.
- Provide consultation on sophisticated projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist of most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment
- Proficient in understanding BRD, FRD writing and leading E2E implementation on large ERP projects.
- Support NNA IT business engagement activities and overall strategy
- Support in prioritizing the portfolio of business initiatives
- Implement governance of protocol for IT engagements, prioritization of work, maintenance of portfolio and resource alignment
- Implement established Agile methodology
- Bachelor's degree, Master’s degree a plus
- Must have minimum 7-10 years of ERP functional and configuration experience and IT related project methodologies and life cycles
- Material Resource Planning (MRP) skills and experience (production planning, scheduling, and inventory control system), preferred
- Must have detailed knowledge and understanding of business principles and processes in Supply Chain.
- Process driven analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experienced in business process re-engineering

- Solid teammate and creative problem solver for providing innovative solutions
- Strong verbal and written communication/documentation skills
- Manufacturing industry experience, “process manufacturing”
