Roles and Responsibilities
The job duties and responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide support for all desktops & laptops (Windows XP, Windows 7, MSOffice, and other enterprise supported software).
  • Desktop Configuration - Install, configure and upgrade operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages; may modify specific applications for use in operational departments according to policies and standards
  • Desktop support - Troubleshoot problems with computer systems, including hardware and software, e-mail and peripheral equipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where required. Provide 1st Level network support and be able to liaise and troubleshoot with local ISPs.
  • Manage active-directory user accounts, groups, and permissions.
  • Monitor all existing network services and equipment, in a proactive manner, to ensure all network and equipment is properly configured and performing at desired levels at all times.
  • Assist in the configuration of network equipment and servers when necessary.
  • Administrative IP Telephony and mobile support.
  • Assist with the implementation of MobileTEC and provide ongoing support for MobilTEC users.
  • Provide on-the-job training and computer orientation to new company staff.
  • Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company from time to time.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
  • A+, MCP, Dell certifications and Microsoft Office expertise, a plus.
  • Work flexible hours.
  • Ability to learn and articulate technical information and convey to non-technical people.
  • Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
  • Travel periodically to outer offices, some overnight travel required.
