IT Support Level II
Elite Roofing Supply is recruiting for an IT Support Level II who will play a vital role in the success of this fast-growing company. This individual must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess a great attitude and team player mentality.
Job Summary

  • Applies technical knowledge to assist internal and remote users with computer hardware and software problems.
  • Ensures incidents are logged in a ticketing system, triaged to appropriate support staff, and documented appropriately.

Job Duties

  • Coordinates investigations to resolve information system issues with the team and outside vendors.
  • Conducts research to understand, explain and resolve technology issues.
  • Communicates updates to users that have been or may be affected by a problem.
  • Follows up with users after problems have been resolved.
  • Utilizes help desk tracking software to manage incident response, presents recommendations and improvements for user systems.
  • Ensures response times are quick and effective to appropriately resolve requests and meet SLAs.
  • Coordinates referrals to technical, professional, or service personnel depending on the repair, training, service, or software issue.

Experience and Education

  • Performs work under general supervision.
  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possesses solid working knowledge of troubleshooting within the OSI model.
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience, or 4-6 years experience in a related work field.

Reports to IT Manager.
