Job Description
IT Project Manager

Our client is seeking to hire a fully remote IT Project Manager with experience in infrastructure and security.

Here is what you will be doing:
  • Managing the entire project lifecycle, from project scope to implementation throughout software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Managing medium-scale programs from planning to completion by facilitating meetings with project stakeholders
  • Developing, analyzing, and managing project plans, schedules, and resource forecasts
  • Managing project financials and providing input and justification for costs and budget impact
  • Assisting in the request for information and vendor request for proposal processes as directed
  • Managing the work of program teams by assembling team resources to ensure the alignment of team member skills and strengths with project demands
  • Communicating a clear vision of project goals and objectives to the team
  • Managing, controlling, and mitigating risks across interdependent projects by analyzing and identifying trigger events
  • Establishing contingency plans, anticipating and managing dependencies affected by ongoing changes across projects, and recommending ways to mitigate future risks
  • Influencing leadership to take action on these recommendations
  • Ensuring the alignment, buy-in, and supporting of diverse project stakeholders by building and maintaining relationships with internal customers, third party vendors, and business leadership
  • Working closely with program sponsors and/or reviewing boards to help determine program goals
  • Influencing the prioritization of deliverables and facilitates discussions necessary for program delivery

Here is what our ideal candidate has:
  • PMP certification (highly preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience with Oracle Implementation
  • 3-5 years of experience managing IT projects within the infrastructure and security space
  • Experience working with technology teams on technology-related initiatives
  • Bachelor’ s degree or higher (preferred)
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce as a CRM
