Job Description

Seeking IT Manager/Applications Specialist. CICB is a veteran owned business with offices in Orlando and Houston that provides training services for the crane and lifting industry throughout the US and in multiple foreign countries. Its continuous growth along with the diversity of its computer based applications opens the door for a team member with extraordinary computer skills to both assist in the adoption of new tools and technologies for more efficient work process improvement and in the day to day maintenance of existing systems. This individual will handle the day to day management, troubleshooting and maintenance of over 30 computers and servers. Experience in Windows 10 and Microsoft Server 2016/2019 administration required. Familiarity with server administration including network services such as DHCP, DNS, Group Services, File and Print sharing, AD, Hyper-V, Firewalls, and backup.

This role is not limited to IT tasks, but instead is a role to act as part of a business team. The candidate will also have day to day business administration responsibilities that will include, generating reports, training material and manual updates using Word, management of CICB’s online training programs (register students, set-up Zoom/Webex/Teams, troubleshoot connections), and possibly other general tasks. This role will also have a responsibility to learn the tasks performed by the various team members in our organization so that they may offer computing solutions to make day to day tasks more efficient.

Exceptional communication skills including the ability to explain computer functions and troubleshooting steps in terms that can be understood by less proficient computer users is a must. Users may require support with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Access. Strong understanding of databases including table design, relationships, and queries is desirable. Familiarity with ACT! or other contact resource management software, Avaya IP Office, Microsoft Office 365 administration, Microsoft Azure, Visual Basic for Applications, SQL, Asure ID Card Printing Software, are all a plus.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess the following:

  • Experience in Windows 10 and Microsoft Server 2016/2019 administration required.

  • Users may require support with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Access. Strong understanding of databases including table design, relationships, and queries is desirable.
  • Familiarity with ACT! or other contact resource management software, Avaya IP Office, Microsoft Office 365 administration, Mimecast, Microsoft Azure, Visual Basic for Applications, SQL, Asure ID Card Printing Software, VPNs, and database migrations, are all a plus.
  • Ability to function independently, with limited supervision.
  • Strong communication, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to interact with customers and employees in a pleasant, courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs. regularly, and approximately 50 lbs. with 2-wheel dolly on occasion.
  • Have reliable transportation, have a good attendance record, and be punctual.

Schedule:
