Job Description

JOB BRIEF
Manages a variety of general office activities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

ROLE OBJECTIVE*
Provide and lead support to IT Team with a high level of professionalism and in a manner that reflects positively on the organization.

*
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
  • Managing Office 365 tenants.
  • Installing and configuring and managing phones.
  • Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
  • Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.
  • Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.
  • Performing tests and evaluations of new software and hardware.
  • Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
  • Monitor and test backup operations.
  • Managing technical documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:

  • BS in computer science or related field and/or significant equivalent experience.
  • A strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills.
  • Experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
  • A+, Network Associate accreditation advantageous.
  • Technically proficient with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft Office/365.
  • Experience with VMware, Parallels, Veeam a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
