Job Description

Description:This may be your best move yet! Lockheed Martin seeks a C2BMC ISSO, located at the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Primarily responsible for maintaining the cybersecurity posture and baseline of the C2BMC Spiral 8.2 Test and Training Environment located at Schriever SFB, Colorado and/or deployed assets
  • Support the operations team and the system Information System Security Officer (ISSO), facilitating Risk Management Framework (RMF) process in accordance with NIST Special Publication 800-37
  • Assist the program Assessment and Authorization (A&A) team on authorization package preparation and maintenance
  • Provide feedback to the Cyber Operations Lead and ISSM and attend TIM meetings
  • Participate in the coordination of system security and connection authorizations to C2BMC systems
  • Provide input to POA&M and RAR processes and memorandum of understanding/agreements
  • Assist in providing status on site security posture, such as, IAVA compliance and NTO/JTO status
  • Provide input to Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&M), Security Assessment Reports (SAR), Risk Assessment Reports (RAR)
  • Participate in Cooperative Vulnerability and Penetration Assessments (CVPA), review results, and incorporate improvements in operational procedures and documentation
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required

*Position is primarily Mon - Fri; however, after-hour and weekend support may be required to meet operational mission requirements*

*Position is based out of the Schriever SFB with expected travel to other C2BMC sites, as needed to meet mission requirements*
Basic Qualifications:
*Must currently hold an active DoD Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position*

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree

  • Must meet certification requirements of DoD 8570 IAT III (CISSP (or Associate), CASP CE, CISA, GCED, GCIH)

  • Knowledge of NIST SP 800-37, NSIT SP 800-53, DoDI 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01, DoDI 8530.1, DoD 8570.01-M and CJCSM 6510.01 B policies and requirements

  • DoD Command and Control system experience to include system architecture, security engineering, and network engineering

  • Knowledge of modern computer systems, client/server, LAN/WAN and Network concepts, modern network management and monitoring concepts. Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux (RHEL) operating systems

  • Experience in problem solving and troubleshooting of complex/distributed DoD systems. Hands-on experience with security/vulnerability scanners, IDS, and network assessments

  • Familiarity with DoD, MDA, and Program security documentation, system security engineering designs, and network cybersecurity concepts, such as RMF

  • Sound knowledge of POA&M and RAR processes and practical experience to direct the assessment and development of Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) and/or Operating Instructions (OIs) to effectively administer and provide cybersecurity standards under assigned area of responsibility

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Project, Word, PowerPoint, Access and Excel
Desired Skills:
  • Previous experience and sound knowledge of C2BMC System or Missile Defense

  • Must be a self-starting problem solver, capable of planning, coordinating, directing and controlling their individual projects, and possess the capability to work with limited supervision

  • Working knowledge of IA concepts such as patch management, multi-factor authentication, host-based security, intrusion detection, security event management and defense-in-depth

  • Working knowledge and proficiency in technical writing
