The Performance Measurement & Attribution (PMA) team is member of the Global Accounting and Product Services (GAAPS) group within Technology & Operations. PMA delivers investment performance, analysis, oversight, and attribution across all asset classes. This role can be based in multiple locations across our footprint including Atlanta, GA, Wilmington, Delaware, New York, New York, Princeton, NJ, Seattle Washington, or San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the Alternatives Performance function, and lead all aspects of an independent performance review committee for Alternatives Performance.
  • Craft the framework to support scalable alternatives performance reporting, removing manual and email based tactical processes, and speeding up reporting timelines.
  • Partner with NAV, GIPS, Client Reporting, Investment Strategy, Risk, and standardize performance methodology calculations across the platform; where applicable, explore opportunities to become GIPS-compliant.
  • Be a source of performance and system knowledge, and collaborate with external parties such as fund administrators, custodians, and various index vendors.
  • Learn internal analytical systems and technologies (Aladdin, eFront), and use them to support our growing business needs.
Knowledge/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering and/or Economics (equivalent) with a proven track record.
  • 10 years’ management experience in the fields of operations, accounting and/or administration with a particular focus on alternative investment funds.
  • Be a specialist in performance calculation methodologies (IRR and ROR), and have familiarity with GIPS and GAAP standards to accepted ways of recording and reporting accounting information.
  • Show strong understanding of standard methodologies, and the ability to synthesize information. summarize issues, and take initiative. Open to learning and passionate about new technologies!
  • Prioritize relationship management – comfortable working with senior leadership, key clients, and internal teams.
