Job Description
This position is responsible for reviewing current inventory and sales trends, cycle counting, proper stock rotation, and arranging incoming freight.

Job Description:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily Inventory cycle counts.
  • Monitor and ensure inventory integrity.
  • File shipping claims with third party carriers and suppliers. Follow up to ensure timely payment.
  • Maintain product identification and location within the system.
  • Research inventory discrepancies and share findings with others within the organization.
  • Work with other departments to resolve issues and improve upon existing procedures when needed.
  • Help Receiving Team process paperwork for blind receiving process and proper labeling procedures.
  • Monitor inventory for proper stock rotation, near-dated or expiring product; communicate with sales and operational leaders as needed.
  • Assist Corporate Purchasing Team with inventory analysis.
  • Arrange in-bound transportation for product getting competitive bids to ensure the lowest freight rate available.
  • Communicate with warehouse personnel regarding freight schedules and provide appropriate paperwork for receiving.
  • Communicate supplier out-of-stocks and other inventory issues with appropriate managers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Strong time management and anticipative skills.
  • Positive attitude when working others with the organization.
  • Possess a work ethic that encourages the highest level of accuracy and quality in a team environment.
  • Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to work independently on assigned tasks
