YOUR ROLE
Are you known for your analytical skills? Are you passionate about inventory management? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to manage the physical product availability, essential to meeting customer needs, and perform applicable inventory reporting.


WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Manage physical inventory counts (monthly, quarterly, etc.)
  • Ensure ongoing inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate the timing of file extracts, reconciliation program and adjustments to meet host processing and warehouse operational needs.
  • Investigate, resolve and prevent inventory discrepancies by reviewing electronic transaction history.
  • Correct back routes/re-routes and shipping errors.
  • Create and distribute daily inventory reconciliation reports, inventory adjustment summaries, warehouse productivity reports and warehouse error reports.
  • Coordinate and monitor automated stock transfers.


WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; Associate's Degree in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain Management, preferred. Minimum two to three years related experience. Experienced in database analysis, query development, and experienced in inventory planning and analysis; Minimum two to three years related experience in transportation, logistics, inventory control or materials management, preferred. Minimum one to three years industry experience, preferred.
  • Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills. Skilled in report development, writing, and skilled in advanced mathematical calculations.
  • Characteristics: Ability to identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities; comparing data from different sources to draw conclusions. Proven organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments. Ability to work independently while following established policies and procedures.
