Intern - Quality Engineering


ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

BUSINESS: Leslie Controls, Inc

LOCATION: Tampa A&D

DIRECT REPORTING: Quality Manager

FUNCTIONAL REPORTING: Director of Plant Management

Job Description and Responsibilities

The intern will act as a provider of additional bandwidth to support the Material Review Board improvement exercise.

  • Assist Quality Engineer with Material Review Board process
  • Develop standard work associated with MRB process

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the disposition of material due to Non-conformances
  • Understanding criticality of quality function in providing the customer with a quality product
  • Continuous Improvement mindset for workflow

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements

  • Be enrolled in a BS with a major in Mechanical Engineering and less than 2 years to graduation
  • Capable of utilizing MS Word, Excel including macros
  • ERP experience a plus
