High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
Preferred Qualifications: Two positions open with one focused on financial reporting & modeling and the other one with a focus on utilizing technical skills for data development & anaysis.
Preferred Majors: Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Information Systems

Basic Purpose:
The Cost Reporting team supports the CMS/Federal Mega Rule requirements for the Medicaid products, which require Centene to provide Medicaid health plan performance results to State agencies and their Actuarial consultants. The team is responsible for the development and submission of Cost Reports, Medical Loss Ratio Reports, Rate-Setting data, and supplemental reporting.
Members of the Cost Reporting team have access to the Actuarial Development Program.
