Job Description
    DutiesSummary

    You will be working with electronic intelligence (ELINT) vessel tracking and analytic support of merchant ship operations using a variety of systems and databases. Applies knowledge of the IC system Generic Area Limitation Environment, the maritime environment, in-depth ELINT experience to analysis of ship radar signals for the Global Maritime Environment Division, providing in-depth knowledge on commercial vessel activity. NIMITZ OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE CENTER.


    Responsibilities
    • You will be applying advanced research methodologies and analytical techniques and/or collection management systems to complex work assignments.
    • You will draw on broad expertise to effectively interact with senior intelligence community/industry/other analysts and/or experts in assigned discipline(s)/focus area(s); coordinates with foreign counterparts.
    • You will utilize broad-based knowledge of assigned discipline, its customer base, and attendant requirements, and effective use of product line/vehicles available to satisfy requirements.
    • You will understand in-depth the roles and responsibilities of Naval Intelligence at the National and the fleet level.

    QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Leading Operational Intelligence (OPINTEL) analysis and establishing analytic production priorities for the command; 2) Ensuring Operational Intelligence (OPINTEL) and analytical collection requirements are written and submitted appropriately and priority information requirments (PIRs) are maintained/updated; 3) Applying extensive knowledge of the IC system Generic Area Limitation Environment (GALE), the maritime environment, and in-depth experience as an electronic intelligence (ELINT) specialist to conduct operational intelligence analysis on ship radar signals.
