We are currently looking to add our team an Insurance Certificate Phone Receptionist at Dillon Risk Management, an Acrisure Agency Partner. We are looking for someone that has excellent communication skills, takes pride in their work, committed to providing quality customer service to our customers, a team player with a friendly and positive attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process certificates and additional insured forms.
  • Assist account managers in administrative support including but not limited to checking policies, downloading policy forms; ordering motor vehicle reports; and any other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
  • Answer telephone calls in a professional and timely manner. This can involve taking messages or directing calls to appropriate personnel, and directly answering general questions from clients, customers, and others; meet & greet visitors.
  • Distribute daily internal/external mail and overnight packages.
  • Perform general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, scanning and mailing, ordering office supplies; and any other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain the office reception area and conference rooms along with the equipment, and replenish office supplies.
  • Handles additional projects as directed.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or the recognized equivalent is required.
  • Minimum one year experience in the Commercial insurance industry or similar role, required.
  • State of California P&C Insurance License, required or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire.

Technology Skills:

  • Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • Possess the ability to type 45wpm
  • Applied Epic Agency Management experience preferred but not required.

  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability actively listen, and problem solve with minimal assistance

  • The ability to multi task, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
