Job Description

The Instructional Designer/Trainer of Data Quality Assurance is responsible for training employees on platforms, concepts, and processes. In addition to training delivery, the Instructional Designer/Trainer will also be responsible for content and resource development. 10-20% travel may be required, based on company initiatives.

What You’ll Do:
  • Work closely with the TCI team - learn what each role does on a daily basis; Instruct newly hired employees on the specifics of their particular job.
  • Translate complex processes, procedures, etc. into interesting and effective training programs; Evaluate training progress and adjust training methods as needed.
  • Serve as a general subject matter expert for all employees.
  • Work closely with peers, Managers, and Directors to determine training needs and communicate progress regularly.
  • Support change management through intentional content design and communication plans/development; Learn new procedures or computer based applications and develop and implement a training plan.
  • Generate ideas and develop training materials to enhance the customer’s experience.
  • Ability to flourish in an environment that requires you to deal with multiple issues concurrently and change plans without a great deal of notice.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience delivering training preferably in a large corporation.
  • At least one year of experience designing learning content through various channels.

Extra Points for any of the Following:
  • Proficiency in Windows based technology and the Google suite of applications.
  • Proficiency leading live webinars and in person training of all sizes.
  • Ability to design and create presentations in PowerPoint, Google Slides and Articulate 360.
  • Ability to use various programs and media to create effective messaging and communications.
  • Videography and graphic design skills are a plus, but not required.
  • Effectively communicate important procedural and technology updates.
  • Must set an example for professional behavior and adherence to policies.
  • Attend work regularly, start and end sessions on time, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to understand and relate ideas and messages to a variety of audiences through multiple mediums.
