Moda Health is seeking an Instructional Design Trainer. This position develops a wide range of eLearning courses and learning activities that will cover soft skills, technical skills and internal policies and procedures for all levels in the organization using company styles, standards, and development tools; develop and maintain documentation, and perform quality reviews of policies, procedures, phone techniques and etiquette and system functionality for customer service, claims processing and adjustments.

Primary Functions:
01. Assess training needs in development of existing and new eLearning courses.
02. Designs and develops instructional eLearning courses and lesson plans for use in the training of all levels of processors and customer service. This includes the development and updating of course content and training materials including but not limited to contract, claims, and phone skill modules. Coordinates to ensure consistency throughout the corporation.
03. Presentations are developed and implemented in a clear, user-friendly manner and accommodate various adult learning skills.
04. Conducts end of course evaluation and action planning.
05. Create and update documentation and resource materials as needed.
06. Advise the supervisor of any personnel issues, utilizing proper judgment in accessing any necessary action to be taken.
07. Assist in planning, organizing, and directing the activities and workflow of the department.
08. Participate in or manage projects as assigned.
09. Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within the job scope.
10. Contributes to and supports the corporate quality initiatives by encouraging team and individual contributions toward the corporate quality improvement efforts.
11. Collaborating with claims & customer service departments to identify training needs.
12. Assess, design, develop and implement innovative learning solutions that meet strategic business initiatives.
13. Creatively use instructional design, learning theories, and existing content and appropriate technologies to engage learners.
14. Develop classroom and interactive eLearning solutions; present them in contextually accurate scenarios to increase knowledge transfer.
15. Manage projects and processes in an environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities utilizing excellent project/program management and organization skills.
16. Partner with a diverse group of stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand employee and customer training needs and validate effectiveness of solutions.
17. Facilitate requirements gathering meetings with curriculum stakeholders to define the appropriate learning objectives, modalities, and expectations.
18. Respond to changes in products/features by revising content at the pace of innovation.
19. Other duties as assigned

01. College degree or equivalent work experience plus 2 years in the development of training techniques and platforms. 02. Technical Writing, Teaching/Training, performance measuring, multimedia, curriculum and course development, ability to work independently or on a team.03. Excellent oral and written communications.11. Demonstrate training skills in small and large groups with good presentation skills.12. Knowledge of WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint.13. Excellent reading, oral and written communication skills, and ability to interact professionally, patiently, and courteously with customers over the phone and in person.14. Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.15. Ability to work well under pressure in a complex and rapidly changing environment.16. Ability to come to work on time and daily.17. Always maintain confidentiality and project a professional business appearance.18. Knowledge and understanding of Moda administrative policies affecting customer service and claims.19. Demonstrated hands-on knowledge of e-learning development tools such as Articulate. Storyline, Camtasia, virtual instructor-led training tools, and social learning tools.20. Experience designing and delivering training solutions to large organizations.21. A demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.22. Call center and health insurance experience preferred.This position will include a combination of working in the office or work remotely from home, as business needs may differ.
