Why SoftwareONE?: #LI-AL1The role: The Inside Sales Executive works with their customers to develop and maintain favorable relationships to increase sales revenue and ensure that SoftwareONE products and services consistently meet client needs. This role is responsible for cross-selling and up-selling, sustaining and renewing client contracts, as well as systematically pursuing customer opportunities.
Essential Functions:

  • Drive proactive new sales, renewals, and overall opportunity management.
  • Contact with current customers daily.
  • Establish and expand relationships with key executives and decision-makers within each customer and territory.
  • Develop and maintain exceptional consultative relationships with existing customers.
  • Work collaboratively with Account Managers to develop an overall account plan, which will maximize opportunities and generate sales activity with customers and partners.
  • Grow and maintain existing customer and partner relationships
  • Manage day-to-day customer and partner requests.
  • Develop strong knowledge of leading industry trends through ongoing training with software publishers.
  • Act as a key resource for leading industry volume license offerings.
  • Drive our PyraCloud Platform’s adoption with our customers.
  • Ensure accurate customer onboarding and visualization of customer data in PyraCloud.
  • Achieve quality benchmarks, including a minimum number of credit memos.
  • Engage in pre-sales activities and drive cross and up-selling opportunities
  • Manage daily Global Service Delivery Center activities
  • Request/manage credit limits and payment terms for customers
  • Manage opportunities/pipeline

  • Knowledge of: operational policies and procedures; customer service and sales probing techniques; and developing and maintaining long-term business relationships.
  • Ability to: analyze data, identify trends and develop recommendations for improvement; research and solve complex multi-faceted problems; work independently and show initiative; maintain a positive attitude; handle large volumes of work and meet tight deadlines; adapt to and embrace change in a rapidly changing environment; lead and mentor by example; maintain and promote good client relations, maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Skilled in: relationship building; verbal and written communication; problem-solving; researching customer and product information; planning, scheduling, and organizing work; multitasking; and time management.
Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years professional sales experience preferred but not required
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented; entrepreneurial spirit
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to break down projects into smaller tasks
  • General understanding of technology solutions
  • Proficient in and knowledgeable with Microsoft’s licensing programs and product stack
  • Highly ethical
  • Positive and high energy; self-starter
