LABOR CATEGORY: Innovation Specialist

AEYON POSITION TITLE: Navy FIP Innovation Specialist

LOCATION: Washington, DC, Hybrid

JOB DESCRIPTION: Aeyon Consulting is currently seeking qualified candidates to support the Department of Navy's (DON) Financial Management Transformation Initiatives to designing, developing, and implementing new strategies and tools to support audit or experience developing and implementing emerging technology to support business operations.

All Must:

  • Familiarity with DON processes and procedures preferred
  • Develop new strategies and tools to support systems modernization and implementation efforts
  • Develop new strategies in conjunction with and support for audit remediation
  • Design and/or develop strategies to support new technologies and/or business operations

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Secret

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited U.S. college or university in an of study relevant to his/her professional role.

Labor Category Duties:

  • ISPEC II: Apply Tech. Expertise & Skills to implement Bus. Solutions. Directed to exercise core skills on projects or may direct Small Teams.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Innovation Specialist Level II: Three (3) years of progressive, relevant experience.

  • ISPEC III: Independently apply Advanced Tech. Expertise & Skills to implement Bus. Solutions. Provide direction to Project Teams and interact with FM&C & Govt. Clients at Branch and Division Head Level

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Innovation Specialist Level III: Six (6) years of progressive, relevant experience.

  • ISPEC IV: Perform independent QA Reviews of Program Performance & Deliverables to ensure Contractual Obligations are met. Resp. for onsite QC, Review, Approval of Working Papers & Findings, and adhere to standards, laws, policy, and regulations. Lead Teams for complex workstreams and/or experts for Accounting, FM, and Bus. Systems. Primarily interact with FM&C & Govt. Clients at Division Head Level and above

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Innovation Specialist Level IV: Nine (9) years of progressive, relevant experience, including six (6) years of experience leading innovation initiatives.

The implementation and enforcement of Executive Order 14043 is currently suspended under an injunction pending further litigation. Once the litigation concludes, Candidates may be required to be vaccinated to be eligible for employment, except in limited circumstances where an employee is legally entitled to accommodation.
