Infrastructure Management Analyst

Altura is actively seeking an individual to join our data analytics team, specifically focusing on configuration and maintenance of secure network connections, to help us grow and scale our impact.

• Interact with internal and external parties to construct and support highly secure network connections between production environments (on-prem and cloud-hosted) and data sources
• Assist team members in configuring, establishing, and troubleshooting connections between the on-prem and cloud-hosted data analytics platforms to client data sources
• Assist team members by onboarding data source information into analytics platforms
• Manage access to data analytics platforms
• Aid team members in configuring and supporting data analytics platform software
• Work location: Newport Beach, CA preferred

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in IT infrastructure management: configuring and troubleshooting networking equipment (firewalls, switches, Cradlepoint modems) to support IPSec VPN tunnels, VPN clients, and remote data collection
• Experience in deploying and configuring web server software (Apache HTTPD, NGINX, IIS)
• Experience in server management (Windows/Linux)
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting identity provider and single sign on technologies (LDAP, SSO)
• Excellent customer service attitude (internal users and external clients and third parties)
• Critical thinker and problem-solver
• Effective working in a collaborative team environment
• Self-starter with natural intellectual curiosity
• Strong listening, communication, and writing skills
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent

• Experience with the SkySpark application and Axon programming language
• Experience in network security technologies:
  • SSL certificates
  • IPSec tunnels
  • Websockets
• Experience in Fantom programming is a bonus: https://fantom.org/
• Knowledge of the following building management system software is a bonus
  • Tridium Niagara 4/Ax
  • ALC WebCtrl
  • Johnson Controls Metasys
  • Siemens Desigo/Apogee/Insight

• Experience with networking tools and the Windows/Unix command line:
