Independent Contractor/Newspaper Carrier

Routes soon to be available in Monroe/West Monroe and surrounding areas. Candidates will be selected based on eligibility as more routes become available.

This is for a part-time route as an independent contractor.

2-3 hours, 6 days per week.

$100.00 - $450.00 per week. Pay is dependent on size of route.

Do not continue if you do not have reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and valid insurance in your name. This is for home delivery and store delivery route.

Newspaper carriers will:

· Pick up papers at our dock facility or another designated area.

· Deliver papers in good condition to the satisfaction of the customer or store location.

· Manage start/stop/changes on route on an ongoing basis. (Online tools are provided.)

· Ensure route is completed by 6AM. (7AM on Sundays)

The right candidate would have:

· A fuel-efficient vehicle such as a car. The right candidate ideally would live near the area to make it profitable.

· Access to the internet. Carriers will use online tools to help manage their route.

· EXPERIENCE WITH NEWSPAPER DELIVERY IS A PLUS!
