PURPOSE STATEMENT

As an HR Manager you will be providing HR business partner support to various businesses and strategic initiatives. You will also help to develop and deliver products and services that will improve upon the overall associate experience. The HR Manager will work collaboratively with other HR resources and partner with various business leaders to provide consultative services in the areas of talent management, organizational development/design and associate relations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
  • Consult with business leaders to provide overall HR guidance. Be a credible advisor and influence leaders that will provide impact and results to the overall business.
  • Develop and administer HR plans to support various organizational goals. Work on initiatives, in coordination with COE’s, that align HR priorities with overall company strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with businesses to provide organizational design theory and strategies inclusive of capacity optimization.
  • Talent Management support including robust talent calibrations, succession planning, associate development and performance review process.
  • Leverage HRIS analytics to support business initiatives. Analyze trends and metrics to influence business and develop solutions.
  • Compensation administration to include recommendations, administration of review process including base pay changes.
  • Provide overall HRBP support for HR projects and/or strategic initiatives including identifying changing business requirements for HR Programs.
  • Drive various diversity and inclusion initiatives including challenging unconscious bias and sourcing opportunities to improve our efforts. Support affirmative action program.
  • Partner with businesses to design and implement progressive people practices and strategies to foster culture, enhance associate engagement and drive accountability for results.
  • Provide change management consulting and be a change agent by recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures that will provide continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Partner with Associate and Management to resolve issues to include coaching/counseling both Associates and Managers to improve work relationships, increase productivity and retention. This includes conducting formal investigations and facilitating terminations.
  • Consult with corporate legal and human resources on various issues as needed including escalating issues of particular concern to the Strategic HR Business Partner.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required (concentration in Human Resources is preferred).
  • Professional HR Certification is preferred.
  • 5 to 7 years progressive HR experience, with strong experience in an HR Generalist role required.
  • Experience designing/executing organizational strategies to support strategic business initiatives.
  • Coaching and consulting skills with demonstrated problem solving and bringing situations to conclusion; including experience conducting formal investigations.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results through influencing.
  • Solid communication skills (verbal, written and listening).
  • Experience using project management methodology to support business initiatives. Experience with Agile methodology a plus.
  • Solid understanding of human resource processes and knowledge (i.e. Employment Law, Recruitment, Compensation, Benefits, Selection and Retention, Associate Relations). Familiarity with applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Ability establishing trust and building credibility to support various businesses.
  • Ability to work independently as well as handle confidential information.
  • Overall strong technology support/experience with the ability to quickly learn/utilize systems.
  • Strong MS Office skills to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with an HRIS system, SAP SuccessFactors strongly preferred.
