    Scope:
    Responsible for assisting with and coordinating the Human Resources policies and programs, including, but not limited performance review process, time and attendance and benefit administration for all levels in the organization.

    Key high-level deliverables will include:
    • Provides Customer Service to employees.
    • Recruitment process for hourly temporary employees in conjunction with the HR Recruiter.
    • Maintain the overall Employee Performance Review Process: Track dates due; prepare documents for supervisors; ensure completion and return of reviews; apprising HR Manager of issues noted on reviews; confirm to Payroll when pay-progression reviews have been completed; file documents.
    • Create and maintain employee files and required documents in conjunction with Jamestown.
    • Complete employee records to include personnel, medical, I-9’s, state specific documents, etc.
    • Oversee, track and maintain the Perfect Attendance program: review of eligible employees; preparing posting list for each facility; preparing check attachments; posting checks to payroll system.
    • Knowledge of Company policies and procedures, ensuring consistent practices.
    • Assist employees and supervisors involved with Dayforce HR-related functions (i.e. time and attendance, absenteeism, requesting time off, etc).
    • Company Newsletter coordinator; gathers articles and photos.
  • New employee drug screening, on-boarding paperwork, orientation.
  • Investigations and employee relations issues.
  • Payroll administration, paycheck distribution and Disability/FMLA tracking.
  • Employee resource for payroll related questions and issues as needed.
  • Benefits administration, benefit changes and annual Open Enrollment.
  • Temporary Employee tracking, placement and interface with Agencies.
  • Conduct audits in compliance areas as needed.
  • Draft and distribute communications including new hire announcements, job postings, etc.
  • Provides support to the HR Team by working on various projects and activities as assigned.
  • Support safety function.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the company
    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

    • Labor Category – Non Exempt
    • Expected schedule – Monday through Friday 7:45 am to 4:15 pm
    Travel:

    • Occasional travel in regional area

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office environment

    Required Education and Experience:
    • Required to understand and communicate in English
    • This position requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, plus 1 year of Human Resource related experience.
    • Associate Degree and human resource experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
