Job Description

Right at Home is an award winning in-home care company seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for our Ellicott City Office. The ideal candidate is socially engaging, self-motivated, solution oriented and results driven. The work environment is fast paced and requires the ability to be organized, pay attention to detail and manage multiple tasks daily. You will have the ability to work independently with the support of a dynamic and caring team.

Right Opportunity:

1) You will be focused on talent acquisition through effective recruitment initiatives and process onboarding of New Hires.

2) You will be the direct supervisor of caregivers providing performance reviews in a 90 day and annual cycle.

3) You will execute the Recognition process as well as Coaching, and Corrective Action. Must be able to handle challenging conversations.

4) Assist HR Manager to provide support with Benefit Open enrollment

5) Assist with initial payroll processing and adjustments

Other responsibilities include administrative tasks that assist with the organization and function of the office: such as electronic files set up on HR drive, scanning, and answering phones.

Job Requirements:

  • 2 to 3 years in a Human Resources Department, Bachelors degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources is desired
  • Excellent organization skills required
  • Customer service experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of attention to detail in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
