Human Resources Coordinator-Full time
CPS Corporate Office - Brooklyn Park, Minnesota

Providing specialized pre-employment/onboarding administrative support, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Schedule: This position works 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, in the office, with a 30 minute lunch break. There may be some overtime hours or flexibility required based upon business needs.

As a full time, nonexempt, Human Resources Coordinator with the Comprehensive Pharmacy Services's (CPS) Corporate Human Resources Team, located in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, you’ll work closely with CPS Recruiters, Managers and new hires. Your primary role is to initiate, monitor and manage all aspects of pre-employment clearances and onboarding for new employees. Duties include, data entry of candidate information to initiate background checks, selecting correct background check package based upon specific hospital requirements, following up on missing information, daily monitoring of all candidates in the background check process, following up on any discrepancies regarding pre-employment screening for further verification, working with background check vendor on issues/delays, assigning electronic onboarding documents for new hires to sign and following up for completion, communication regarding start dates with hiring managers, uploading information to transfer into HRIS system and troubleshooting issues. There are roughly between 25-35 candidates in the background check/onboarding process at any given time that you are managing. In addition, there are ancillary duties and additional projects.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, customer focused, collaborative, is able to problem solve, and has a high aptitude for administrative details and HR process.

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree, equivalent or greater
  • 2+ years of recent work experience in a Human Resources administrative capacity
  • Exceptional customer service and professional communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
  • Experience working with a high volume workload and urgent deadlines
  • Experience working with confidential documents
