Description
The Senior People Ops Specialist (LOA Specialist) is a SME around the coordination and administration of the US leaves of absence and ADA programs. This team member will be responsible for supporting, monitoring and facilitating claims, report generation, vendor management, and communication with employees, HR Partners, and managers.

#LI-DNPWhat You’ll Do
  • Responsible for the administration of all aspects related to leaves of absence to ensure compliance with federal / state laws and regulations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees on questions related to leaves of absence; responds to inquiries and directs employees on where to file claims
  • Main point of contact for 3rd party vendor relationship related to leaves of absence and disability programs (Lincoln)
  • Coordinate internal EPAM systems, including the internal company vacation application, HRIS management system, payroll system & external vendors to ensure accurate recordkeeping and payment to employees
  • Maintain accurate reporting of all types of leaves of absence, including personal or unprotected leaves of absence
  • Coordinate benefits contributions due and manages payback if applicable
  • Education to employees and HR Partners on relevant laws and processes
  • Coordinate the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Accommodation Process
What You Have
  • Company policies and procedures including leaves of absence, disability, accommodation, paid time off, compensation programs
  • Company software and information systems including payroll, internal company vacation and HRIS management systems
  • Federal and state legislation (i.e. FLMA, ADA, state PFML programs, etc.)
  • Company values, mission, vision and strategic direction
  • Basic software applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet, Email)
  • Advanced Excel skills to include V Lookups and pivot tables
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • HR or Benefits certification preferred
