Job Description

Human Resource Operations Coordinator

The HRO Coordinator primary responsibility is to support the Human Resources functions within XP Synergy Companies and all other associated brands. This position is critical to the success of talent recruitment, development, retention, and growth. In addition to the integral role that the HRO Coordinator will have in Human Resources, this position will also support the daily operations infrastructure for the XP Synergy Companies. The HRO Coordinator works with and under the direction of the Director of Operations to support comprehensive functions including: recruitment and hiring of employees, records retention, HRIS troubleshooting, new employee orientation and onboarding, maintaining employee information, compensation and benefits activities, general HR duties, assist with general operational duties, and clerical or administrative tasks as directed by the Leadership team. The HRO Coordinator upholds the organization’s strength-based philosophy with a growth mindset in all interactions with key stakeholders, including team members, vendors, and other community partners.

Responsibilities

· Follow established policies and procedures for maintaining company integrity.

· Assist in developing and implementing various HR related programs designed to maximize the effectiveness of our employee population.

· Ensure all new hire documentation is completed to established standards and work with hiring managers to clear any discrepancies.

· Ensure all pre-employment testing/screening and verifications are completed.

· Process all data sheets and change of status for all employees and forward to Payroll by established timeline.

· Review and ensure I-9s are accurately completed. Monitor and process I-9 re-verification requests

· Enter employment hiring / separations into State labor/workforce websites for unemployment purposes, respond to unemployment claims and coordinate unemployment hearings with Direct Supervisor.

· Respond to employment verifications.

· Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations

· Maintain contacts with our assigned account managers for HR related company software

· Assist with the functions of on-boarding and off-boarding employees

· Ensure employee files are updated and maintained in a secure manor

· Ensure the operations allocation process runs efficiently

· Ensure account payables are made timely

· Ensure the monthly coordination of mileage reimbursements are submitted

· Assist with development and implementation of healthy living employee program

· Some travel required between multiple offices

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related fields from accredited university is preferred with a minimum of 2 years of proven HR related experience OR

· Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related fields from an accredited educational facility with a minimum of 4 years of proven HR related experience will be accepted

· Well versed in general HR policies and procedures

· Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

· Creative, strategic, and analytical thinker with the ability to multitask.

· Must be highly organized and able to work well with others.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows based computer application and database management.

· Must be flexible / adaptable to change within work scope

· Must possess honesty, integrity, and professionalism

· Must have reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $34,000.00 per year
