HR Operations/HRIS Manager

MACOM is currently hiring an HR Operations/HRIS Manager based out of Lowell, MA.

Job Description:

The HR Operations/HRIS Manager is a process and systems visionary within the human resources organization, responsible for content generation and program and process enhancement, as well as support and maintenance of MACOM’s HR systems Cornerstone and ADP Workforce Now and management and process improvement of Compensation Programs, Benefits Administration, and Absence and Leave Management.

This position serves as a technical point of contact for the HR systems, ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

The HR Operations/HRIS Manager also supports troubleshooting system issues, HRIS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

  • Key point-of-contact to support HRIS maintenance, includes timely research and resolution to HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements; opening and managing service requests directly with Cornerstone or ADP.
  • Innovate to meet the needs of the business with the creation of new processes, programs and tasks within MACOM’s HRIS databases.
  • Manage the testing and implementation of HRIS upgrades and/or patches.
  • Ensure interfaces from HRIS to ADP Payroll system are performed in a timely, accurate and complete manner.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors and HR to drive system enhancements and automation to maximize productivity, efficiency and support organizational objectives.
  • Ownership of continuous improvement of policies and processes that require HRIS execution.
  • Troubleshooting production issues and thinking critically in pressure situations.
  • Develop, maintain and support a variety of reports using appropriate reporting and metrics generation tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing business needs.
  • Maintain data integrity in all systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Provide monthly or ongoing/on-demand reporting to the HR /business teams and ad hoc reporting as requested by HR and/or the business.
  • Assist in the development and management of KPIs (HR Dashboards/Scorecards).
  • Annual government reporting - deliver on data requirements associated including - EEO, VETS and AAP.
  • Audit entries made into HR systems, serving as an internal control to ensure data entered is accurate and timely.
  • Support the annual internal/external audit process by providing reporting and supporting documentation as requested.
  • Comply with all applicable data privacy laws.
  • Manage the help-desk ticketing process related to the HRIS.
  • Lead and coordinate the benefits function.
  • Coordinate the benefit program and manage benefit administration.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA and other reporting and disclosure requirements.
  • Oversight of MACOM’s Company, Federal and State Leave Programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 7+ years of HR administration/operational experience.
  • Experience with Cornerstone HRIS is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with a variety of people/groups, internally and externally.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt quickly to changes and the discipline to complete last minute requests as needed.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently and the initiative to handle increasing responsibility over time.
  • Ability to follow through with open issues until resolved.
  • Excellent judgment is required to handle sensitive and confidential information.
