JOB SUMMARY:

As HRIS manager, supervises and oversees the organization's HRIS systems while ensuring the quality, consistency, and integrity of HR data across all systems. As Benefits manager, responsible for administration of benefits in all company operations; develops, recommends, and installs approved, new, or modified plans and employee benefits policies, and supervises administration of existing plans.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for all HR Information Systems and/or implementation of any HR Information Systems,
  • Manage the preparation and distribution of reports regarding human capital data.
  • Provide support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Guide the design, planning, testing, and implementation of HR Information Systems to automate HR processes. Participate in projects related to the implementation and maintenance of HR Information Systems.
  • Maintain the configuration of Core HR modules for Employee & Manager Self Service functions and system Administrators & Users. Has overall accountability for data integrity to include quality, accuracy, compliance, and usability of employee data and related interfaces
  • Maintain an understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements affecting applicable aspects of HR processes, systems and benefits.
  • Manages all employee benefit plans and programs, including but not limited to health insurance, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance, life insurance, COBRA, FMLA, workers’ compensation, 401K, retirement, and other health and welfare initiatives.
  • Manages annual and all other enrollment events, including preparation and delivery of all communications.
  • Manages the response to employee benefit questions, orientation of newly eligible employees, and monitors enrollment and qualifying life event changes.
  • Prepares and maintains human resources and employee benefits data and reports; performs periodic cost analyses.
  • Manage the reconciliation of all benefit-related accounts and activities and manages benefits (e.g., 401K, life insurance, disability, accidental coverage, and medical/dental/vision/prescription drugs, wellness).
  • Spearheads benefits coverage evaluation, negotiations with brokers and vendors, benchmarking, and cost analysis as well as policy and strategy implementation.
  • Manages the setup, preparation and execution of employee events – luncheons, charity events, wellness program and employee appreciation events.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressively increasing responsible experience with data, platform, and HRIS management
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in benefits and preferred three (3) years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Experience administering and managing each of the following: health insurance, FSA, disability insurance, life insurance, COBRA, FMLA, workers’ compensation, 401K and other health and welfare initiatives.
  • Experience with benefit integration for multiple companies under one umbrella.
  • Data analysis and reporting experience regarding employee benefits, benchmarking, and cost evaluations.
  • Polished written and oral communication skills and a strong sense of urgency and time management.
  • Comfortable working as a team in a fast-paced environment.
