Job Title: HR Talent Coordinator

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Human Resources Department, the HR Talent Coordinator will support all recruiting and onboarding efforts within the Sunrise Sports & Entertainment Umbrella (Florida Panthers/FLA Live Arena, Panthers IceDen, Sanza Food Service, and the upcoming FTL War Memorial). This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate, create, and implement impactful recruitment strategies and meaningful onboarding processes. Job Functions:

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provides full life cycle recruiting including sourcing, interviewing, job offers and salary negotiations and new employee onboarding and new hire support for all facilities
  • Identify the needs of hiring managers to best support recruitment efforts
  • Develop and collaborate with internal stakeholders about marketing/ employment brand strategies
  • Assists in compliance with laws, regulations and company values, policies and procedures
  • Provides support with answering employee questions, assisting with the online application, answering phone calls, printing ID badges and helping with special projects.
  • Perform pre-employment background screenings
  • Advises staff on personnel policies and procedures
  • Maintains job descriptions and works with department heads in updating same
  • Maintains confidential personnel records and files
  • Attend and represent the company in Job Fairs
  • Develop and maintain a relationship with local Colleges, High Schools, and Job Coaches for recruitment purposes
  • Create and execute onboarding for all employees (Part-Time & Full-Time)
  • Maintain spreadsheets to keep track of all pertinent information
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.


Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years previous administrative experience required; previous experience supporting a human resources department strongly
  • Excellent time management skills such as prioritizing, organizing, and deadline awareness for multiple projects with varying completion dates.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under limited supervision.
  • Should be extremely organized and detail oriented, with a focus on quality and consistency
  • Passion for diversity, inclusion, and equity efforts
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solid computer skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, a must
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic a must. Must have a “team-first” mentality with an eagerness to learn
  • Must be able to maintain and abide by organizational confidentiality standards and be able to appropriately handle sensitive information
  • Ability to track and follow up on details
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to applicants and employees
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a non-exempt position. Must be able to work flexible hours.
