Job Description

Responsibilities:

Work with the VP, National Practice Leader for HR consulting to run the operations of the consulting business:

  • Create Proposals and track follow-up process with client and NFP sales representative.
  • Complete ICA for new consultants and conduct Consultant onboarding process; acclimating them to NFP’s consulting methods and standards of excellence.
  • Maintain and update skills matrix for consulting pool so that suitable talent can be easily identified. Update manager on gaps in expertise.
  • Work with manager to match client projects with the appropriate expertise of NFP consultants.
  • Manage client projects; liaise with clients and consultants to kick-off projects, set timelines, review caliber of consultant’s work and ensure that deliverables and client expectations are met.
  • Maintain client skills matrix; keep supervisor up to date on the status of each project, ensure that clients are billed and sales force CPIF forms are completed for each project.
  • Assist in finding new HR consulting talent, review resumes conduct initial interviews.
  • Continually update processes and procedures in order to effectively handle large volumes of client projects.
  • Utilize HR expertise in conducting research on HR related topics and advise internal NFP teams, clients and consultants on projects as needed.
  • Set up peer review consultant pool to ensure quality of work product and manage consultant peer review process.
  • Provide support where needed as the practice continues to grow.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Project Management a plus (or experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.)
  • HR Generalist experience (3-5 years)
  • The ability to work under pressure, synchronize multiple teams and meet deadlines. * In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods, trends and best practices. * Up to date on current employment laws and state regulations.
  • Solid attention to detail with superior follow-through is crucial for this role.
  • Ability to strategize and formulate effective processes to support business goals.
  • An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and professional consulting skills.
  • Positive, “hands-on” – “get it done” attitude. Education and Experience:
  • BS/BA in human resources, project management or relevant field/experience;
  • SHRM certification a plus. Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
