Job Description

Position Overview:

AccessOne is looking for an efficient Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. You will be accountable for a broad range of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. You will need to be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations. To be successful in this role, you should have a baseline understanding of HR functions and best practices. You will be coached and developed further in HR practices to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.

This is a fulltime, non-exempt, onsite site position. This role may become eligible for a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite/ two remote) after a satisfactory 60-day review and clear understanding of responsibilities. Occasional weekend or evening work may be requested during times of high demand.

What you can expect:

  • Perform customer service functions by responding to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Make photocopies; mail, scan, and email documents; and perform other clerical functions.
  • Collect, sort and processes mail to ensure timely filing.
  • Respond to VOEs unemployment claims, and state compliance request.
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits or other HR compliance programs and recommend corrective action.
  • Assist with administering health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Assists with processing of terminations and new hires.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
  • Perform orientations, onboarding, and update records with new hires
  • Support the recruitment/hiring process by sourcing candidates, scheduling phone screens and interviews.
  • Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by the Director of HR.
  • Assist with preparing slide decks for training sessions
  • Assist or prepare internal correspondence, company announcements, and newsletters as requested.
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback
  • Support employee engagement by assisting and coordinating events and programs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What you bring:

  • BS/BA, associate degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least two years related experience required.
  • Proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
  • Strong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with HR databases and HRIS systems
  • Experience with sourcing tools, like resume databases and online communities
  • Experience with state and federal compliance
  • APHR or PHR certified or expected
