Job Description

We are looking for a Hotel Manager. This position has active participation in profit maximization, guest satisfaction, revenue, and operational effectiveness. The Hotel Manager analyzes operating information to achieve budgeted labor, supplies, materials, and other cost standards. The Hotel Manager possesses strong working knowledge of all areas of the hotel, has experience making critical decisions with a proven track record of managing, motivating, and leading a full-service hotel team.

  • Supervise, train, coach and retrain Guest Service and Housekeeping Team on systems, processes, procedures and guest interaction.
  • Oversee and ensure accountability in all aspects of Team’s performance.
  • Responsible for all front office and housekeeping activity during Has a strong sense of running Rooms, Front Desk
  • Check Room Attendant’s List and ensure room availability status is accurate.
  • Check time cards to posted schedule.
  • Maintain good guest relations by keeping abreast of all in-house and area functions in order to answer.
  • questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses in person and on the phone.
  • Contribute to and maintain established information and communication sources such as department and front desk log books in order to enhance department communications and operations.
  • Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
  • Maintains excellent service scores for all survey systems and ensures staff is delivering great service at times.
  • Monitors and tracks guest feedback and reviews in relation to the property's goals and provides.
  • Completes departmental walk throughs of the facility and holds department heads accountable for conditions
  • and ensures all areas that need attention are brought up to an acceptable level.
  • Practices and instills a strong sense of urgency in addressing issues and implementing changes and
  • adjustments to improve/enhance operations.
  • Practices and instills great attention to detail in all matters and operations.
  • Ensures communication channels are open with all departments and individuals for which they are responsible.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Hotel management: 3 years (Preferred)
