Hotel Guest Services Agent

The Courtyard by Marriott at Briarcliff, Kansas City is accepting applications for a Front Desk Guest Services Agent! Come join our award winning team!

The Courtyard by Marriott Kansas City at Briarcliff features 123 guest rooms, a restaurant called The Bistro, 7,000 sq feet of event space called The View at Briarcliff, fitness center, salt water pool & hot tub, and many other amenities for guests to enjoy. The properties wide variety of amenities and guest services often lead to promotion from within the organization and Marriott.

$400 bonus potential within the first 90 days!

Bonuses are offered after the following:

30 days: $100

60 days: $100

90 days: $200

This offer is good for all new hires, as well as employee referrals.

We are also beginning a monthly bonus program that is completely individual based:

$1.00 extra for every hour worked during the month (98/month = automatic extra $98)

$0.50 extra for every hour worked if you have less than 2 unexcused absences for the months

$0.50 extra for every hour worked if you pick up an extra more than 2 times during the month

Potential to make an extra $2.00 for every extra hour worked!!

Earn up to $2.00/hour as a bonus at the end of the month!

Shift Availability: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Job Duties May Include:

• Greeting & checking in guests
• Handling guest requests
• Answering internal/external calls
• Taking reservations over the phone
• Running shift reports & balancing cash drawers
• Properly executing daily closing reports
• Assisting other departments with guest needs including communicating issues to department

Characteristics of a Strong Guest Service Representative Candidate:

REQUIREMENTS:

Liquor License – KCMO, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
