Night Audit/Front Desk Agent (11PM to 7AM)

2 years of Hotel Front Desk experience preferred.

  • Must be Flexible. Willing to work Am and Pm shifts!
  • Full Time or Part time status to be determined once training is completed.

Job Purpose:

The front desk is often the first point of contract and the first impression for guests. Warm knowledgeable service and helpful guidance and reassure guests they've made the right choice to stay with us.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner recognizing, Rewards Club Members and also returning guests.
  • Check guests in, issue room keys, provide information on hotel services and room location.
  • Ensure required identification is taken from guests at check-in line
  • Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Up-Sell rooms where possible to maximize hotel revenue
  • Answer, Record, and Process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
  • Check guests out, including resolving any late or disputed charges
  • Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions using established hotel procedures
  • Communicate any outstanding guests requests or issues to management that may require action
  • Take action to resolve guest problems/complaints using appropriate service recovery guidelines
  • Follow established hotel safety protocols and procedures at all time. Immediately report ant health and safety incidents, security breaches, concerns or suspicious behavior to the supervisor or manager duty
  • May routinely book guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested either by phone or from within the hotel; process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes
  • Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedure

Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED
  • One Year of Hotel Front Desk
  • Proficiency in SynXis is preferred but not essential.

Requirements:

  • Basic Computer skills to operate property management Applications
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • College Level Verbal Articulatory Skills
  • Being Passionate about servicing guests

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekend availability

Work Location: One location
