Job Description
TeamHealth's hospital medicine team in this community facility in Glasgow, Kentucky, is looking for a dedicated Medical Director. Located 90 minutes from Nashville and 90 minutes from Louisville, this academic hospital has comprehensive specialty backup and a hospital network that expands across Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity for a director looking for a small town with easy access to the big city. The hospitalist program is fully staffed with both day rounders, APCs and nocturnists, so the ideal director candidate will hone the group skills, focus on improving metrics and liaise with the administrative team.
Position Highlights:
TJ Samson has 124 beds with 16 skilled nursing beds and a 10-bed ICU with 24/7 intensivist availability via telehealth. The ICU is open, with no required procedures. This is an academic facility with a Family Medicine residency program and comprehensive specialty backup.
