HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

Overview - The person is responsible for maintaining and repairing, with privately owned hand tools and some company provided tools any and all the company’s equipment and assets.

Job Duties:

• Perform repairs and diagnostics of all systems on Hyster, Toyota forklifts, Case wheel end loaders and CAT, SENN, FUSCH Cranes.
• Keep equipment up to OSHA standards.
• Troubleshooting and repairs of low voltage electrical systems and Hydraulic systems. Understanding Schematics
• Change tires, brakes and drive train components
• Maintain accurate written logs and records of all time and materials used to repair the equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance of all equipment
• Perform some building and facility maintenance repairs when needed

Knowledge and skills required to perform duties:

• Must be able to operate forklifts, cranes, loaders, skid steers in a safe manner.
• Team player
• Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Some experience in Welding and Fabrication is a plus

Skills preferred but not required:

• Experience repairing Balers, Strappers, A/C systems and small conveyor Machines

Shift

• Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and every 3rd Saturday 7 a.m. - 12:00 noon

Pay: From $26.99 per hour
