Heart Of House

The Heart of House Team Members are required to bake/frost all sizes and flavors of cakes offered by NBC and according to the NBC standards, recipes and timelines. They are responsible for maintaining the required par levels and will maintain accordingly. They must keep the baking/frosting station clean, sanitized and running efficiently, track inventory and order groceries and baking materials.

Requirements :

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs on a daily basis during the duration of employment.
• Possess a strong sense of teamwork.
• Takes initiative.
• Has the ability to work under pressure.
• Has physical stamina.
• Enjoys doing repetitious work.
• Has a strong sense of pride in their work.
• Has good organizational skills and can foresee problems.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Time management skills required.
• Understands the importance of maintaining a clean work area.
• Can multitask without losing site of the details.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Abide by all NBC policies and procedures.
• Uphold the NBC image and brand.
• Assist other departments as needed and directed.
• Maintain refrigeration logs.
• Alert management to issues and maintenance needs for equipment.
• Bake the full line of cakes by diligently following the NBC recipes.
• Maintain quality of product, including frosting standards and baking quality standards.
• Track inventory of baked goods.
• Receive groceries.
• Keep baking/frosting area, tables, equipment and tools clean and sanitized according to local codes.
• Maintain and supervise the execution of all health code regulations.
• Must be willing to cross-train into other departments including crafting, frosting, or baking.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $7.00 - $30.00 per hour
