HEALTH SURVEILLANCE SCREENER

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to assist in the health surveillance screening of staff, patients and visitors entering Blessing Health System entities, under restrictions, as a result of COVID 19. Health Surveillance personnel screen all people entering the facility, providing instruction on any restrictions once the health screening criteria has been met. Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet the needs of this position operating seven days per week. This position reports to the Director of Volunteer Services.

Excellent customer service and communication skills required to create a positive “first impression” to everyone entering a Blessing Health System facility.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:

• High school diploma or GED – must be 18 years or older
• Positive leadership skills and experience.
• Computer literacy is required, must be able to navigate basic computer including the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer services skills, ability to work independently, problem-solve, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task and use critical thinking skills.
• Positive interpersonal relationship skills required.
