HBTS Support Staff

As a HBTS Support Staff you will be responsible for:

  • Providing specialized treatment and/or treatment support to children aged 3-21 years in all areas identified through HBTS plans
  • Working one on one in the home/community with child that has special needs
  • Reviewing treatment plans for direction and collecting data to achieve goals
  • Attending agency and department specific trainings and meetings
  • Protecting the rights and dignities of children with special needs and extend these rights and dignities to family members or guardians

Education/ Requirements:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age and have a high-school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have two years of supervised experience working with children with special health care needs, or an Associate’s degree in human services (i.e. psychology, counseling, child development, education, nursing, etc.), or be currently enrolled in not less than six (6) semester hours of relevant undergraduate coursework at an accredited college or university
  • Must successfully pass BCI and CANTs screenings
  • Must have valid driver’s license, safe driving record, automobile insurance, and access to vehicle to be used as directed and when needed for transport
