HANDWELDER1st Shift, 6am-2pm
Monday-Friday w/ Saturday OT as Needed$18-20/hour + $1.00/hr Raise After 6 Months$2,000 Sign-On BonusINTRODUCTION: This position reports to Welding Supervisor and the Welding Lead. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities. WELDER: Performs duties associated with all areas of welding parts for production. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Include, but are not limited to:

• Pull and weld parts to print or specifications.

• Weld to and follow all Work Instructions. (WI)

• Count and label products correctly.

• Rework as assigned, to include grinding.

• Removal of non-conforming material at the end of the shift.

• Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous MIG welding experience.

• Capable of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

• Must be able to consistently and on daily basis as required to safely; stand, twist, bend, stoop, reach, kneel.

• Must be able to correctly and safely lift up to 53# with or without the assistance of a lift or device.

• Must be able to wear the required OSHA PPE which may include: XXX respirator.

• Highly dependable, motivated and self-driven with excellent attendance.

• Ability to follow, understand and strictly abide by the Work Instructions. (WI)

• High level of attention to detail is a must.

• Able to use handheld tools correctly and safely.

• Able to read and write legible as defined by company standards.

• Ability to gain knowledge of company products and comply with quality, environmental and safety policies procedures.

• Ability to gain knowledge and understanding of JOST’S Basic Processes.

• Must pass pre-established requirements for company visual and penetration standards as determined by supervision.

• Must be able to accurately and correctly read and comprehend blueprints.
