_Hotel Management & Consulting_ is seeking an experienced part time **Guest Attendant** for our Woodspring Suites location in Linden, NJ. **Our Ideal Candidate: ** Positive. Professional. Problem-Solver.

You thrive on tending to guests’ needs. You are organized and have excellent time-management and problem-solving skills. **Being an HMC Guest Attendant: ** As a Guest Attendant with HMC, you will be the “face of the property” and the first point of contact for our guests. You will assist in front office operations in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, and you will be able to help out other departments as needed.

  • **Guest Satisfaction** – Attentiveness and anticipation of guest needs always, to include special requests and recommendations on local attractions - **Sales** – Give tours to potential guests and “close” the sale, outgoing marketing calls, etc. - **Teamwork** – Laundry assistance, managing inventory, inspecting room readiness, etc. Required Qualifications: • 1+ years experience in customer service, preferably in hotel operations • Knowledge of lodging point of sales systems • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Self-starter, able to prioritize projects and meet deadlines under pressure • Reliable transportation Physical Requirements: • Repetitive climbing of stairs, ladders • Kneeling/squatting, standing for long periods of time • Able to lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs. _Hotel Management and Consulting, Inc., reserves the right to modify, change, or apply this job description in any way the company desires.
