Job Description

SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a highly motivated growth marketer with a sense of urgency, not afraid to jump in and get things done. The ideal candidate is a data driven professional that enjoys team collaboration and can’t resist a challenge.

As a Growth Marketing Manager, this person will be responsible for bringing new marketing campaigns to life by developing and leading the strategy for compelling online sales funnels within the financial markets, generating lead magnets using squeeze page landing pages, videos ads, emails and social media images that evoke emotion and urge the user to take action buy purchasing our products. This individual will work closely with Copywriters, Designers, on camera talent and other resources as necessary to develop and execute the strategy. They will also work with our media buyers to plan the monthly advertising budget and monitor the results to achieve delivery of monthly targets - conversion, sales, and revenue.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute strategies for online sales funnels within the financial markets for our direct-to-consumer segments and potential strategic partners
  • Fully own and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide direction to optimize and scale ecommerce sales
  • Set monthly performance targets and deliver scalable growth for the products being sold through ecommerce platforms
  • Set strategy and tactics to optimize funnels based on split testing, pricing, and offers
  • Collaborate with and complement the work of our full Marketing Team (Brand, Social, Product, and Content) to ensure we’re achieving maximum results
  • Partner interdepartmentally and cross-company to drive landing page optimization, ad creative and cross-channel attribution models
  • Work on a team of Acquisition Marketers, collaborate with A-players to achieve the acquisition goals and desired growth outcomes
  • Determine the segmentation strategy for online traffic and email lists
  • Monitor competition and provide ideas to stand out
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology and online learning developments
  • Work with the Creative Team to develop the end to end funnel strategy to include supporting email campaigns, landing pages and online sales funnels
  • Work with the Media Team to set monthly budgets for paid traffic and lead generation
  • Bring an A/B testing and optimization framework to each approach, constantly striving to improve past performances
  • Report out on overall key drivers and metrics to the team and senior leaders
  • Additional duties as assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven track record as a digital marketing leader in B2C Financial Education, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), or EduTech products
  • More than a few years of experience in performance marketing, as well as an understanding of and appreciation for how performance marketing and brand-building initiatives work together
  • Proven work experience selling subscriptions or digital products using online marketing tactics and continuity funnels
  • Proven ability to demonstrate experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing campaigns (funnels and journeys)
  • Strong knowledge of marketing technology and best practices
  • “Growth hacker” mentality with a bias for action ability to work quickly and accurately
  • ClickFunnels / Kartra / Unbounce / Infusionsoft / Wordpress
  • Experience with website analytic tools including Google Analytics, HotJar or Optimizely
  • Strong understanding of how all current digital marketing channels function
  • Strong team management and communication skills written and verbal
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working with ecommerce digital marketing funnels
  • 2 to 5 years experience in Lead Generation / Subscriptions / eCommerce
  • 2 to 5 years experience in Digital Advertising

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to think, plan, and execute resourcefully and creatively
  • High-level proficiency in Google Suite and tools and MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Proficiency in CRM and marketing automation technologies (Salesforce Sales Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
  • Experience Selling Products in the Financial Markets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Competence as a creative writer with an eye for great emails and landing pages
  • Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking
  • Ability to travel as necessary
